HTC desire internet

I got the HTC Desire today

I cannot connect my phone to my wifi [whole new story, my iPod doesnt connect either]

But i was just wondering that, i have 1GB of phone internet, if its connected all the time then it will obviously run down ... but i wondering if there was an easier way of turning phone internet on and off without having to go through the settings

Due to the fact that, having the facebook widget etc on the homescreens, its a pain to have to go through the settings all the time

This probably didnt make much sense lol but help?

Sense is the user interface from HTC - so that curved dock at the bottom, most of the supplied widgets, some of the apps are all parts of Sense.

Quick settings is another app you can find on the market.

Back when I used Sense I put a power control widget onto another app called QuickDesk so that I could access it easily without having to find the home screen with that widget on it. There are a lot of options for this stuff, I'm afraid!

Long press on a blank area on the home screen. Then go to widgets.

Lots of things you can add here.

If you go down to Settings, there is an arrow to the right of it. Press that.

Then choose the Mobile widget. It works like a toggle on/off switch on your home screen.
