HTC Desire Issues??

Hi all,

Iam planning to get a HTC desire..wanna know if the Desire has got an hardware issues which HTC has agreed upon and is replacing the set if its still under warranty..?

There's nothing documented. If there's a hardware fault and its under warranty, they will repair It. As with all warranties of this nature

I just got my HTC Desire (1st version, not HD) back from 1 month in HTC Customer Support in Singapore (bought in S'pore airport). They replaced the entire motherboard (no charge - under warranty)m due to overheating and repeated spontaneous crashing, often crashing several times before the reboot cycle was complete. Others have reported same M'board problem. Now having premature call cutoff problems, not yet sure if it the phone, but will test alternative SIM card for a few days to see the pattern. Not a happy customer! Kim

When i got my first desire, it seemed to have a problem out of the box. Calls dropping like crazy, then i was having software problems. After fighting with Bestbuy, i got them to replace it, that is where i picked it up, since i got it replaced i have had no problems.
I recommend this phone to anyone
