Help HTC desire (music and apps problem)

I am having troubles with my phones music and apps.

I have most of my apps and music on my SD card. I happened to delete all my music off my phone, as I wanted to load in some new songs (from the music folder) and then I loaded a lot of new songs on (200+), but when i tried listening to them again, most of them are incompatible. I want to be able to listen to music again.

Also, after this problem, most of the apps on my sd card are somehow removed? and can't access them. Icons of them still exist on the screen, if that helps, but no access.

Any help would be great. Any way for a reboot back in time?

Probably, something went wrong with the SD card mounting/unmounting process, when you were exchanging music.

In Settings - Storage, unmount the SD card and mount it back again. Let the phone scan the card. If needed use the application SDrescan on the phone to re-check media files.
