Help HTC Desire Network connection issue

Dear All,

I get a gift from my friend second hand HTC Desire very nice phone but...

It was locked so I bought a code to unlock it, get the code put it and looks like it works I mean is not asking for network code.

I've load by mistake wrong RUU_Bravo_Froyo_HTC_ARA_2.32.415.3_Radio_32.49.00.32U_5.11.05.27_release_157343_signed
and can not get back to any older one.

Main think about this phone is that cannot find any network, it disply network to chose and when you try you are getting a message:
Your SIM card does not allow a connection to this network.

Ok that's work. The process finished successfully but still cannot find any network.

Any Idea how to go back to the not ARA RUU?

Ok next step done !! That's very good. Updated to 2.3.3 Perfect!!
Now have you got any idea what is wrong with this signal?

Maybe its blocked some how? How to check it?

can you get hold of a sim for whatever network it was locked to?

I will try to get it again but I've try before and didn't work

If the original SIM doesnt work, Im not sure whats causing that....

I've use the web site : International Numbering Plans, 2001-2012

It says is active but I can get any signal.

I'm in UK I can use 3, 02, t-Mobile for this SIM non of them are working.

So was it a 3 phone before? And now you're saying 3 SIMs do not work? But they Did until you entered the unlock code? So then you RUU'd?

When I first get it there was no SIM inside, it was locked to 3.

Any way I've used the CheckMEND :: The UK's largest consumer electronics background reports service web site to check and came up as locked :
Currently blocked CheckMEND has a record that this item is currently blocked by one or more cell phone networks.

It's not been reported as lost or stolen so why it's locked? no idea what is the next step.

I think he did and he get the new ( upgrade ) one that's why I get the old one.
