HTC Desire Price Drop -

sorry to pester this thread, but is handtec reliable? They have really good prices imo

There's a few people on AVForums.com reporting good things about Handtec. They seem to have the best prices and they actually state "Handtec Price Guarantee: If the price drops before we dispatch - email us and we will refund the difference" so it seems it'll stay that way.

I've just pre-ordered one from them so hopefully I'll be getting it in about three weeks time.

yeah im going to pre-order from them. Just waiting on a few reviews before i seal the deal. I dont want to shell out 450 euro without some solid opinions

Clove.co.uk is reliable, I bought 2 WM devices from them few years back.
And I also ordered HTC Desire from them.
It will be shipped to my country (west europe) for 22 GBP using Fedex.

I always buy UK version because I want an english version :)

yeah i saw it there too. But the thing that puts me off is that they dont accept Paypal. How reliable is that site?

Also anyone ever heard (or bought) from Handtec?

Does clove use services like Paypal or google checkout? Or do they pull directly from you Visa?

No idea about that, I use credit card.
You can see the website, send email or call their customer support, they have one of the best customer service to my opinion.

I believe that all Android devices come with a lot of different languages built into it.

oh ok, thanks =) i was just wondering.. cause this will be my first "smart" phone, and i was wondering if the languages go by region, like with nokia and sony ericssons etc..

If I buy the PAYG version then can I dispose of the sim card it comes with and use my own T Mobile sim card in it?
I only ask because it would save me

Just giving my question a little bump and asking another.
Do you think that the price will get any lower as we get through April? I don't know whether to buy it from MPD now or wait until the price drops a little.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you Jack10, it is the same network but I just wanted to double check before shelling out so much =)

That's nothing. I just preordered mine from clove.co.uk for 330 pounds. THAT'S awesome.

Only problem is HTC is delaying all sim-free Desire stocks till April 13th ):
