HTC Desire Run Nexus One ROM?

Im sorry if this has already been asked, but is it possible to run the Nexus One ROM on the HTC Desire? Im interested in this just incase there is a delay in the new Android 2.2 update for the Desire.

yea something like this is likely to happen. i'm not claiming i have inside knowledge, but i think people will act fast on porting it across.

Ahh thats good to hear. I do like the HTC Sense but i would gladly give it up for Android 2.2 and Flash 10.1.

I'm pretty confident this will happen. So far there has been no drive to do this, but when froyo comes out that will all change. Judging by the speed sense got ported to the N1 I would expect to see the N1 froyo rom on the desire pretty quickly.
