- Small Phillips Screwdriver
- T5 Torx Screwdriver
HTC Desire Take apart guide:
- First step is to remove the back cover of the phone with the use of safe pry opening tool. Then you can now remove the micro SD card and the battery.

- At figure 1, remove the two void stickers from the location A and B highlighted with cyan color.
- At location 1, 2 and 3, unscrew the 3 screws located at figure 1 in orange circles.
- Start prying at the back-bottom cover using safe pry tool. The cover is highlighted with gray color in the figure 1 and an orange arrow issues to a handy location to begin prying with.
- Remove the back chassis including the battery compartment using safe pry tool.
