Help HTC Desire sms issue

I recently upgraded to Froyo on my Desire. Since then, when I send out a text the time on the outgoing message is correct. When I receive a reply,say 5 minutes later, the time logged for the message is 1 hour ahead. Example: outgoing is 14.30 and incoming 5 mins later is 15.35. Rang HTC and they told me to do factory reset. I dont want to resort to this - anybody with similar problem?
 
Are your time settings automatic from the network or manual? do you have daylight saving in your country? If so, have they been accounted for?

Is it all contacts or just 1 in particular?
