Help HTC Desire SMS threaded view problem

Hey guys,
I got my desire just a few weeks back and the phone is the best one i used till now...Better than the iphone..But the sms threaded view in my phone is not being stored in order for some contacts. The order of the messages stored is not as it should be...my sent message(First sent) is stored after the received one(later received)..I have tried putting my own time instead of the automatic network time still the problem continues..Hope u guys can help...
Thank you!

I had the same problems as urs before I was told to take out the battery and SIM card and then put them back. things are gettin better. but but still have a lil problem if the contact replies SMS within the same minute as mine the contact's SMS shown on my screen comes before the last SMS i sent to him/her.

Odd problem, not one I encountered. You could try downloading Handcent and seeing if that stops it happening? It's a more versatile application than the stock one anyway.

no much difference using Handcent, tried it and uninstalled it afterwards. plus I sorta dont like having two message apps on the phone which certainly take up internal space. I'd take Handcent back unless the built-in message app could be deleted

It's more an interface overlay than a stand alone app.

Disable auto time update, and check your time and date are 100% correct

Then the sender's clock or your network must be wrong.

How far are they out by? Minutes?[/QU
Suppose i send a message at 8:27 and recieve a message aftr a gap of 1 minute...the message gets stored earlier saying the message was received at 8:23pm..

IMHO this is a network related issue and not phone's, as I used to receive SMSes with wrong timestamps all the time on some providers..
