Hi, I know this has been highlighted many times before but I can't find any up to date solutions!! I have experienced sms going to wrong contact but showing in correct thread.... This is a massive problem!!! I have had to make some apologies re sms going to a colleague which was meant for a girlfriend!!! The implications of this bug cannot be underestimated!!!!!! It has happened to me at least half a dozen times. Both with stock app and handcent. Both in 2.1 and 2.2. Mostly goes to a contact in a current thread, when I have caught this on the name at top of thread has changed but conversation is original thread, after it is sent name reverts back to originals but sms has went to the incorrect name and contact even though it won't show in that contacts threads!!!! This is not isolated incidents! All android phones seem to suffer. Seems to be going for well over a year and yet nothing done??? This is a total deal breaker with android of which I am a huge fan!! This can ruin careers and relationship!!! Unless sorted I will have to eat humble pie and move to the dark side A##le!!!!! Please help
