I have HTC Desire (unbranded). I was able to do system software updates till now [I am on version 2.2]. However, when I try to check for new updates now, I get the "Checking" message appearing but nothing happens it just sits there. A number of people seems to be having the same problem as well. So wondering if it is a general problem as opposed to something I did on my phone.
