Help HTC Desire update error - Need Help

Anyway, I updated the phone to 2.2 and now, trying to turn the wifi on, it just says error.

Also, theres an update.(2.29.405.5), and after downloading it, after the phone reboots to install it, the green bar fills up 1\4 and turns red, and stops, and theres a "!" next to the phone symbol.

So i cant update it and wifi doesn't work, need help asap, thanks.

Before processing the update, did you check if you had enough free space in internal memory (at least 25MB)? If not, are you able to uninstall some apps to make space?

Yes, I put everything on my SD card, I have about 84mb on phone storage
