Help HTC Desire - Wont Sync - Can anyone help?

Hi,

Im trying to sync my Desire to my PC via the supplied USB cable. Have checked the debugging option, followed the guide as shown on the HTC site but still not working. PC saying no device found. Im a complete phone/android hack. Ive searched through the forums but cant seem to find an answer.

I read the guide on here on how to move apps on an unrooted phone and to do this (I have no space left), I need to sync the phone using HTC sync.

Would appreciate any help available.

Have you tried to reinstall HTC Sync (that would restore the needed drivers), and did you select on the phone HTC Sync Mode?

I don't use HTC Sync, so I can recommend you MyPhoneExplorer instead.

Yes checked the sync option. No, I hadn't tried the reinstall. Good idea, I'll give it a crack. Thanks for the pointers.
