Help HTC Desire won't turn on

Last night I was deleting some default apps with a root explorer to make some extra space. After I finished, I restarted my phone to make sure all the changes were made but when it booted back up, the only thing that comes on is the LG symbol and the buttons will light up.

I didn't delete anything that I thought the phone would need. It was basically things like default 3D Games that I didn't play and apps like Twitter, Navigators, Stocks, etc. I took out the battery, the sim card, and the sandisk chip continuously and put it back in but no change.

I'm wondering if I've bricked it. I'm not able to send it to recovery mode or anything like that. Supposedly there's a trick where you hold the power button and the volume down button together and it doesn't work. But my phone will charge. After putting my battery in, it'll show the battery icon charging when I have it plugged in.

I've read a lot of reviews and complaints that have been made about this phone and am just wondering if it's a glitch or something. Anyways, an answer to what's wrong with it and what to do to fix it would be appreciated.

I also would like to know that if I have to take it somewhere, will they know my phone is rooted and any suggestions on how to go about getting away with that, lol.

This is a forum for the HTC Desire. We won't be able to help with an LG phone, as root tricks differ for different handsets, never mind different manufacturers.

Edit: Are you sure about "LG Desire"? I can't find any evidence of that model. But if it comes up with "LG" on the splash screen it doesn't sound like an HTC.

I am really an amateur with the androids. I have my information all mixed up. I'm sorry, the model is an LG Thrill 4G. I just posted it in the correct section.

I should make sure I have the right information before I ask questions.. Lol.
