Help HTC Desire Z not dialing!!

Hi,

ive had my HTC Desire Z for about 8/9 months now - but of late, it keeps not wanting to dial out randomly.

So, I'll try to ring someone from my call history, or from my directory, which has always worked - except recently, randomly, it will decide to do nothing! it will vibrate to show that my touch has been registered, but wont actually call!

And then, randomly, it will start working again - no need for a hard reset or anything.. its quiet annoying!

Anyone had this issue? How did you get it to work?

You could try turning the phone off, then open the battery cover and pull the battery out. Wait a few seconds, put the battery back in and power on the phone again.

I do not have your specific issue, but I find that every few months, my phone exhibits some odd behaviour. Turning it off and doing the battery pull and powering back on again seems to make it stable again.

Hi Stuntman - thanks for the response. I'll give that a try. But I end up doing that anyway about once a week when my phone kills itself and wont start with the start button. I think that one is a standard issue most HTC Desire Z phones suffer with.
