htc desire z not sending sms

After i updated my desire z to the latest version , i was trying to send sms it didn't work to send sms to some phones and others it worked.

Any help?

Welcome to the forums!

Are you using the stock HTC messaging app? Have you considered using another app... I use Go SMS, but there are others such as chomp and handcent - this could sort your issue.

You may also what to have a look at this sub-forum HTC Desire Z - Android Forums as other users of the Desire Z could offer other solutions.

Welcome to the forum. This could be caused by several different things. You should contact your service provider as well. Sometimes the problem could be the recipients device.

I've contacted my service Provider ,
they told me to do some steps i did them and also didn't work,
but when changing the phone it sends a message,
but when using the htc it isn't sending message to some phone.

(there's a number that am sending to him a message from htc it does't send.
but from other phone its sending.)

I've used chompSMS and it worked. so what's the problem with the defaults sms application?

Really don't know what the problem is with the stock app... at least you are able to send them now using Chomp!
