hTc desire

Hi folk:)
I have a hTc desire which I cant call from my flat even though my girlfriend can using the same network. Any advise would be appriciated.

Advice: hnmmmm I would think you should probably marry here already. ;) I jest.

I would bring the desire back to the store and present the problem to them. Maybe there's something wrong with the antenna?
