HTC Didn't Learn Anything

You know, normally I participate on a forum where people actually read a post before commenting. Guess not here.

No where did I defend a company or product. I am only pointing out that OP CHOSE to buy a brand new phone that would be in high demand and limited stock for a month or so. And now he is crying that he can't get a replacement soon enough. And he is blaming HTC.

His choice, his problem. Again for last time. Don't want this problem, wait a few months to buy ANY phone.

How hard is that to understand?

Clearly you didn't understand the point of the initial post. I thought I explained the fact that I love my EVO! I don't want an iPhone or any other phone for that matter.

The entire post was simply voicing my displeasure with the fact that Sprint grossly under-estimated what the demand for the EVO would be, and now as a result, loyal customers like me along with new subscribers who purchased on launch day and have had issues with their devices, are suffering because of it.

God-forbid this device that I paid hundreds of dollars for that is being advertised as a game-changer that can stream live video over a super-fast 4G network connection (which I don't have yet in my market but am still paying 10 bucks a month for) is basically useless for that purpose to me because the front-facing camera doesn't work.

Allow me to simplify, I love EVO... my EVO has an issue... wanting to get that issue resolved doesn't make me a 'whiner,' it makes me smart and not a jack-ass that is willing to accept a defective product.

Thus is the saga of the early adopter. Learned my lesson well with the pre launch. That's why I'm still waiting to get the evo. As painful as it is to wait, it is the only prudent thing to do to avoid all the "beta testing" you do as an early adopter. I may not be first but at least I won't go through most of these headaches. Can't wait to get my evo though.
