HTC DNA vs Samsung S4

Anyone here thinking of changing your phone to a Galaxy s4? I came across this phone at a Sprint store and compared it to my HTC DNA. The s4's display is much better than the s3 and sharper like the dna. The white background on the webpages is much improved compared to previous amoled screens of other phones. Plus it feels more compact to hold. I like it alot!
Although I heard reviews of gs4 call sound quality is not as good. And with the DNA's amplified Beats audio, I'm afraid that the s4's sound might not match it when using headsets.
But the s4 has alot going for it with microSD, camera, removable bigger battery and the array of features found in its Touchwiz UI.
For now, I'll still keep the dna cause I love charging this phone with a wireless charger.

If I somehow had an upgrade, I wouldnt bother since I cant see myself owning a Samsung phone still. The UI is still awful to me and for me personally, I dont like the look of any of their phones. The plastic look really turns me away from them. The DNA is the perfect android phone for me that I can currently buy. The ONE looks nice, Id love having front facing speakers and all, but its not on Verizon and Im expecting a DNA 2 of sorts that will be roughly a ONE but with some tweaks.

If anything you should compare the one to the s4. Same generation compares apples to apples

Dont count big red out on getting it

Nah, there's already too many comparison reviews online between the One & S4. Besides, I wanted to compare it to our phones, the Dna, since it has quad-core & 5" full HD screen like the s4.

So people really change phones everytime a new one comes out. That seems like such a waste of money. I love the tech as much as the next man, but spending hundreds of dollars on the next big thing every 6 months is like throwing your money down a hole.

Anyway, the only thing someone appealing about the S4 is some of the new software features like waving to answer the phone. However, software features never mean much considering there are always apps on the market that will allow you to do the same thing. Case in point, I saw the S4 wave feature in the commercial, and what do you know I go to the Android Market and find a app called Wave Control that does the same exact thing.

I dont think the waving motions are anything new. Im pretty sure my s3 has that ability, but touchwiz bugs me too much. I dont have a use for 95% of samsungs software.

As far as getting a new phone as new ones are released, some people do that, but not most. Its very possible to do it without hurting your pocket too much if you are a nexus user. Sell the older model and you can pick up a new phone every year for ~$100 or so out of pocket. Thats in line with paying ~$200 every 2 years with a contract upgrade.

I sold a sprint galaxy nexus for $220 a few days ago, and rumors are sprint will get the nexus 4 in a few weeks at google i/o.
