HTC Dock

Just wondering if anyone has built a dock for there HTC hero, so it sits on the desk nice.. i mean it cant be hard...

I would also be interested, as I would like to poke all the iphone users at my work place by it showing it's self off.

Go to eBay and search for HTC Hero Cradle and you will find lots of them.

HTC themselves do one, it's for all their phones and you get an insert for your specific phone, but currently the inserts are not ready for the Hero. I ordered one from Expansys and got them to send me the dock immediately and send the Hero inserts later, it's fine without them. You have to yank the thing off the dock and shove it on, it's not ipod-like due to the connector on the Hero being essentially a USB plug. It's quite expensive though.
