Help HTC doesn't give me Outlook as an option

Just switched from an old Hero to the Evo 4G LTE. I have always synced my contacts and my calendar from Outlook to HTC using HTC Sync. When I try it with the Evo, HTC Sync doesn't give me the option to sync my calendar. It does give me the option to sync People, but the only option it gives me is to Sync all contacts from Outlook Express (not Outlook). I'm running on Sync version 3.2.10, which I just downloaded and reinstalled from the HTC site. Any suggestions on how I get this thing to sync both Calendar and People from Outlook.

Thanks,
Dave

If you are using an exchange server, you should be using the Touchdown app on the market. You can then choose whether to sync your calendar/contacts with the phone. The app is expensive but I don't think there is better exchange server support.

go to:
settings\accounts & sync\ ---> you have two options that can work ---> Mail -or- exchange active sync.

I have been using the mail app congiured for my exchange server and it has worked well since my OG Droid, and then switched to the EVO product line. Hope it helps.

With my Hero, I used HTC Sync to get calendar and contacts from Outlook with no problem (note - I don't need to pull mail in to the phone). I'm not sure why HTC Sync wouldn't still work for the EVO (the software recognizes the EVO when it's plugged in, it just doesn't give me the option to choose Outlook for calendar and contacts).
