Help HTC doesn't respond while charging

Hi all,
I've just bought HTC desire s. As general I am very pleased with this device. The only problem is that the device doesn't respond to touch while it recharging.
So what I do is I unplug in and use it.
Has anyone else faced this?

That shouldn't happen.

Try switching the phone off and removing the battery for a couple of minutes, to see if that gets things into gear.
 
I have more info.
When I charge the device using the USB cable, it response.
However, when I charge the device using the power coord it doesn't.
Note that I don't have the original charger.
 
Ive also found this to happen, but only when I use my spare non-HTC charger at my girlfriends. It works ok on the charger which came with the phone, and on USB.

I have same problem when charging with no genuine charger. :mad:
Have anybody figured out why ? :confused:
When I charge from computer USB it responds without problems. :)
 
This is a problem with the 3rd party charger you're using, not the phone.

Other people have reported similar problems with various phones.
