Help Htc evo 4g flashed to boost. lost contact info

My phone lost all of my contacts and most of my apps almost like a reset after changing the battery, is there a way to recover my information. It is a sprint phone flashed to boost.

Were your contacts saved to Google? Try to sign back into your google account or gmail and sync it to see if your contacts come back.

Is the phone rooted?

@any staff member...feel free to move this to the Evo 4g forum if necessary...my internet is wonky at best:)
 
I tried to sync my facebook contacts but it will not do it, it also has given me a strange keyboard now.
the phone has not been rooted. I can make phone calls and text and web, but no email. Also when it started after the battery change all of my screens were blank.
 
I think a factory reset might be in order.
Do you know how to access the bootloader screen?
Or can you access the menu option to get to the factory reset?
I can't say I know what happened or why, but you may have to reset the phone, which means you will lose whatever apps/data you have now.

I agree.. factory reset that.. it may be corrupted.. the "bootloader" is what you may know as a bios screen.. or at least similar. And if you dont have the option for it in the phone you will need to know how to access it just like with the bios usually bing F2, its "usually" power and volume up.. my way of just doing it is (if possible) pressting every physical button on the phone on power up..
