1.can't say for sure when rooting will happen. first an exploit needs to be found. depending on the exploit found, root usually starts out as a temp root meaning once you reboot you will loose root. and then full root would usually follow that. but all this is speculation as it really depends on the exploit. and we will not know for sure until they(devs) tell us about the exploit.
