Help HTC Evo and GPS help ?

I was just wondering if the Evo has a true GPS system, or if it uses A-GPS, like the iPhone? If anyone could explain to me what the difference between the two types of GPS methods, I would really appreciate it!

It only comes down to how the first fix is gathered - once there, the Evo's GPS is already gaining a reputation as getting phenomenal location results for a cell phone, comparable or better than a standalone unit - with exception of time to first fix.
