HTC Evo Back plate problem And Light leak

I just bought my evo from a RS in Downtown LA it was the last one. I finally go to inspecting it when i noticed the metal around the camera looked kinda dented in some parts like it was droped or the back plate was forced or something so it doesnt sit flush in some parts it dips adnd the outline on one side of the camera looks kinda nicked sorta? and the buttons dont feel as feedbacky to the press as expected as well as the back always feel like it has some give and makes noises like its not secure but it is so idk??
Is anyones else like this? Could i have got a crappy back plate? or what should i do? I contacted VM about it but im waiting to see what they say i asked if they can replace the backplate but idk. So just wondering if anyone elses looks dented or anything like that? Thanks for the feedback!

Oh and there is light leak all along the bottom of the phone is that normal? It looks pretty uniform so is that how its supposed to be?

You probably got someone's return for Sprint.

I would call virgin mobile and ask them to send you a brand new one.

You think? But Yea i may just do that but who knows when ill get it.. Hopefully i can call them tommorow since there closed right now.

Within the first 30 days Virgin will tell you to return it to the retailer.

I freaked out when I opened the package and the back was coming off. Then I realized it's supposed to come off and that's how I put the battery in. Derp.

Yours sounds like an actual defective unit, return!

The only thing is that they dont have anymore in stock and im afraid they'll say i did it or something plus id have to travel all the way back out to where i bought it from since none around me had any in stock yet :/ So idk i may call vm and see what they can do. If they say anything ill be like RS said they cant return it for whatver reason and see what they say to that? lol

Does anyone with one have the light leak at the bottom? It looks uniform thats why i ask. RS is making me wait till thurdsay they took down my name and stuff when i called but idk it seems the longer i wait the more they'll say i did it..
