Help htc evo battery size

I currently have a Desire. Plan to move to Sprint and get the Evo. Will the battery from the Desire fit the Evo?

I believe so. Most of HTC phones batteries are swappable. You can use the same battery found in a TouchPro2 with a Hero, Legend, Evo, and Incredible. So I don't see a reason why the Desire should stray from the norm.
