Help HTC EVO Email Issues

Does anyone know why e mails get crossed over between accounts?
My Comcast e mails sometimes end up in the gmail account or my Comcast ends up in my wife account.

They can't be deleted and don't even show up to delete.

Did you get a resolution for this issue? My phone is doing the same with my comcast and yahoo email accounts.

Go to your main settings >> Applications >> Manage applications >> Gmail & Gmail Storage

then clear data in both the Gmail and Gmail Storage. Worked for me thank goodness!!!

It worked!!!! I was having issues with receiving my yahoo e-mails. And after re-adding my mail account several times, Sprint could offer no options. So I did as you suggested and went into applications, and mail and cleared the data. Now its working. Thanks so much!! I really didnt want to do another reset
 
Has anyone had any problems with their email settings not taking? My email was taking up too much space so I set it up to only show the last 20 emails, yet everytime I go in it shows about 80 per account. Does anyone know how to resolve this?
 
i have 3 email acc i can not delete any of them plzz help when i try to delete one if force close what can i do help thank you
 
For some unknown reason my Mail app stopped receiving emails from my Yahoo account as of 12/26/11. I deleted the account and added it back in again but it's the same thing - only shows email up until 12/26/11 - nothing current.

I can use the Yahoo app - but I liked being able to check multiple accounts under one email app. Gmail still works, but I don't use it much :-/

Is there a way to delete the Mail app entirely and reinstall it?
 
My hotmail stopped receving emails on Thursday, 1/5/12, on my EVO. I have uninstalled and tried to reinstall, but now won't let me reinstall.
