Help htc evo running on boost

Lurker
hello everybody, i recently purchased a htc evo that is rooted to work under boost. I already have a boost account that is connected to my htc evo but currently will not work in the remote location i am currently in. I checked and boost does have coverage in this area and i recently had a family member come visit that also had boost. Anybody please help........

Originally Boost was only using the Nextel system, which isn't CDMA (which the EVO uses). "iDen only" phones could not operate on Sprint's network prior to them buying Nextel. Prior to the introduction dual band phones (iDen/CDMA) a Boost phone couldn't operate on anything other than the Nextel system.

If Boost is only providing a Nextel signal in your area I can see see how they'd claim there's coverage when the EVO wouldn't work.

Your "family member" that got a signal... is that phone a Motorola iDen style phone?

i also have a htc evo connected with boost it sucks! sometimes i cant make phone calls, or either it doesnt have internet. I cant even send MMS txt.. does anyone knows how i can fix that?
