Help htc evo (shift) text help

Got the new htc evo (shift) I seem to be having problems with the text messaging as far as turning the phone on the device messages all the old people with all the old conversations that the had in the past anyone help please thank you

you are having problems with punctuations....
I dont know what you are trying to say... please edit your post.. so that we can help you.

Texts do not transfer from phone to phone. Those messages are gone.

You can use sms backup & restore app from the market on your old phone. When you do a restore they get saved to the sd card. Then trasnfer that file or the sd card to the shift and download the same app and do a restore. This is of course if your older phone was an android phone also. Good Luck

Sorry for the late reply i would have thought my brother would reply as it is his phone that is having the problems... he went to best buy and the guy who xferd the phones added all the text messages and data to the new phone after deleted the messages... they keep coming back after rebooting the phone... and whenever the phone reboots it re-sends all the texts that are in the phone to the person who already has them

theres another thread for this...dont know the link, but basically everyone is saying they dont know what to do about it. your brother isnt the only oe having the issue and we havent (that ive seen) found a solution yet sorry
