HTC EVO V 4G for virgin any one try this phone

looks like the triumph will be getting so competition and eventho it is an older phone im interested in this evo has any one had this phone, how is this phone compared to the triumph and is it worth trading. i wonder if they will upgrade the service to 4g

My supervisor has this phone and he said it is AWESOME. The 3D I find is a bit gimmicky and I probably won't use it often. It will be running Sense 3.6 over Ice Cream Sandwich and will be 4G enabled. They start selling these on May 31st at $299 on Virgin Mobile USA's site.

What's it like as far as weight goes? It weighs 6oz as compared to the Triumph's 4oz. Is it noticeable? Is it bad?

The only model I held was the Evo 3D display model at Target which isn't really anything to go by. But it feels nice in the hand and the size wasn't as big as I thought (which is a good thing, I thought it was gonna be too big).

My big question is if this phone will have a better antenna. In my building I could get a weak signal in the window with Optimus v. Triumph, no signal at all. Would love to have a phone that would work at work!

This phone will be much better than the triumph.
It has 1.2ghz processor dual core, where the triumph has only 1ghz single core.
Also it will have fully functional GPS.. which will be nice if it is identical to Sprints EVO 3D.

Larger screen and the 3D capability is a bonus.

Well, you may get a better 3G signal but probably not 4G because WiMax is on such a high frequency that it doesn't get very good building penetration.
