Yep I'm jumping ship from the triumph I can't wait for this phone ics with the camera working yes please lol

I'm hoping to pick one up @ radioshack if they get it. I got my optimus v there and it served me well for about a year. This one looks like a real winner though... Whole nother league! Cant wait. With dual core, 3d, 4G and no contract, this is a monster at a great price! Ive always been a big fan of the evos, especially the evo 3d. Saving up for it already. Plus unlimited data! Ha! Cant wait!

yeah I guess the only thing bad will be kicking us out of are 25 solar grand fathered plan:( but other wise then that I'm selling my triumph:)) haha I wanna per order already and be the first to get it wooo

Im getting one the day it starts going for sale..I think I might just hold on to my Triumph since I've never had a single issue with it. Got a lucky $125 Cyber Monday Triumph :p

I hope it doesn't come ridden with bugs, or at least VMUSA release updates for it (which I highly doubt). Overall the Evo should do good and sell out fast

I'm about 90% sure I'll get it right away. Too bad about the $25 plan, but really, it doesn't bother me, it seems fair. The lowest monthly cell bill I've ever had (besides vm $25), dating back to 2000, was $30, and that didn't include data or texting. So $25 was just a screaming deal that couldn't last, and with the improved 4G speeds it'll be worth it. I don't feel like I'm being raped, like I usually did with other cell phone arrangements. Which is nice.

I'm glad I got the wildfire last fall on black friday super cheap, because I now know that I love HTC phones, so I can move to the evo with confidence. Couldn't say that if it was another motorola coming out. The wildfire is great, but having a full powered android phone with a more reasonable amount of internal storage will be awesome. Plus the fact that it's already been out for a while, so there should be some pretty nice roms to try. But it's also nice that the phone will probably be good enough stock that you don't need to mess with it.

My only hesitation, is that they may announce something even better soon.

Why I like the Evo V 4G..
The EVO V has ICS 4.03 is underclocked from 1.5GHz to 1.2Ghz.. Has a SD card slot (it's no 1 V).. 1GHz of RAM.. A hefty 4 gigs of memory vs OV's 300mb.. Full dev support on ROM from Evo 3D days.. (none for the Elite) Cheaper per month per minutes given imo even at $35 per month minimum plan.. Sense 3.6 meh..

I'm going for a Vanilla ROM if the devs work out the 4g not working thing on custom roms.. Word is Sprint VM attached sense to the 4G.. The Evo V has a 4.3" screen.. I looked at it when it 1st came out on sprint and rejected it immediately for the "3D".. At $100 a month + a 2yr contract it was easier than you would think :)

Aftermarket products support (cases protectors etc..) is good for the Evo V too.. Evo 3D was the beta to the Evo V is the way I see it.. It's ready now I hope for prime time usage on VM.. 1 of them is mine.. How bout you??

If you don't like sense 3.6. Newt on xda has a 4.0 port that is nice. No 4g yet but close. If it happens I will get mms working and it will be all good.

With any luck we will have the 4G fix before the release.. I'll get the Evo V when it hits the shelves in stores here just to buy the dev's some time lol ;) Thx for the tidbit.. Might be so good it won't need root?? Naaaaa.. lol

If you think about it the EVO v I believe is the first ics sense WiMAX device. So driver's shouldnt be too hard to port over. I already have my Rom uploaded and working on sense 4 now. Cm9 won't be hard to get working either. I have an advantage because I have the sprint EVO 3d on vm right now. Lol

Hell your the Daniel Boone of VM as far as I am concerned lol.. Sweet.. You sound happy with it so that's good ;)

I've pre-ordered mine I've been paying the $35 a month since I came from Sprint a few months back. I just have to say I rather pay $35 than a $121.00 a month for the same service, where I live Sprint/Virgin Mobile service is great plus WiMax 4G is available too. Ill take 35 bucks a month all day over 121 bucks a month for the same service as far as voice and data go. I'm sure your going to see more postpaid users jump ship when their contracts expire now that VM and Boost are actually getting better phones.

IT'S THE BEST VIRGIN MOBILE PHONE EVER !!!! a lots of 4G signal !!!!! wow !!!! living in MARYLAND area made 14879 on the speed test !!!! :D my goodness !!!! never had a virgin phone good like this, for me this time I don't think needs custom roms or anything else, works perfect and smooth the way what it's !!! ICS SANDWICH with SENSE 3.6 awesome great job !!!!!!!!!!!!
