I keep searching around for the actual specs of the phone i dont know what site to believe the virgin site says it just has 1.2 ghz proccessor not dual no 3d screen and on the radio shack spec for this phone they have it with a 1.2 ghz dual proccessor and 3d screen ext...man whats going on we need official specs....

Or just Google the phone. There are plenty of official specs posted on reputable sites. And yes the phone is dual core and has the 3d function.

Hardware wise it's identical to the Evo 3D, software wise it's even better with ICS and Sense 3.6.

So i called virgin mobile and ask for the specs for this phone and why they aren't the same as the evo 3d when its a re branded evo 3d they replied by saying its design s re branded meaning its the same but hardware wise it wont include a 3d screen or a dual core processor those features that where taking off where do so that we can lower the price on this item.... now i don't know what to think..... isn't this something....-.-

No, Engadget has a hands-on video with the new HTC evo V and it is 3D and has dual core... The rep you talked to is a moron.

Yeah i said that they said all other specs besides there own site are wrong cause they have the official word not any other 3rd party which is true but idk man....

I wouldn't be surprised if they actually downgraded the hardware from the Sprint version of the Evo 3D. They are a business after all and always look for ways to maximize their profit. Cutting back on a core could do that, but I don't think they would take out the 3D screen, if you read the manual it even says it comes with a 3D screen.

Yeah thanks i just seen that now but the processor is still in question to what that sales rep told plus+ he sounded smart and knew what he was talking about...

Your mistake is trusting a sales rep. You must be young. No one with any experience in life listens to sales reps.

I would think it would actually take more labor time and cost more money to downgrade the processor. Remember, this is a rebrand of a phone that has been out for close to a year.

Like everyone else, I don't trust the person you spoke with. He probably looked online at the Virgin site just like you did and made an assumption. Even if out was a tech guy, they work in a call center just like the sales reps and they have very limited information. You'd have to escalate 2 levels before getting that kind of information.

Top questions on 3D camera
How does the phone display in 3D?
Your phone has an extra layer (a parallax barrier) on top of the display that simulates
3D depth. This allows your eyes to each see a different image through this layer,
simulating a sense of depth. When you move or tilt your phone at a different angle,
you may see the 3D image misalign and align again.

it does have a 3D screen for sure. From the PDF manual on virgins site.

Just read on Virgin Mobiles site that only the Pre-Orders will get the 1.2 Dual Core. The rest sold at stores will be single core.
