HTC EVO Wallpaper

I know that you will be able to have stock live wallpapers that are animated but will you also have the option or be able to use and apply your own animated (gif) pictures to your home screen?

Thanks

They don't use the .gif format but there are resources for people who want to create the live backgrounds.

As long as I can put the Nexus background on it, I'll be a happy man. That background is fsking awesome.

Won't come on the phone, but you should be able to get it somewhere else no problem.

That's what I imagined would be the case. Thanks for the confirmation.

Is there a way to use a youtube video as a background or possibly convert it into a format that could be used as a background?

You should still be able to set a .gif image as a wallpaper right? Or am I wrong?

Animated gifs wouldn't work, you'd be able to use the background but the image would be stuck on the first frame.
