HTC Flash player not playing youtube videos?

Hi Guys, why can't i use the HTC flash player to watch youtube video? when i click on the video link in m.youtube.com and chooses HTC Flash player as player. it just shows the youtube logo then the screen is blank. do you guys experienc the same? thanks.

anyone? can anyone confirm that HTC flash player really doesn't work for playing youtube videos so i can stop googling for answer. thanks so much.

Works sometimes for me. Some videos say they won't play on a mobile and others work fine.

yeah i noticed this the otherday
when it askes to use Flash of Youtube app, just tell it to use the Youtube app, all is well

i just did what the OP did and can confirm the HTC Flash player has indeed stopped streaming any videos from m.youtube.com
Could this be related to youtube's recent move to go web-based?

Could it be that you've selected videos where the user has disabled the ability to play it on mobile devices. I've come across a lot of videos like this. The YouTube app lets you know with a note in the video's info, but this information doesn't seem to appear on the full or mobile sites.

This happened to me yesterday. I tried playing a video from the YouTube site and when that didn't work I tried the YouTube app which also didn't work (blank screen.)

I rebooted the phone and it worked again. Very strange indeed though...
