Help HTC flashed to Boost with no internet

Hi everyone! Any help with this will be greatly appreciated. My dad recently gave me an HTC flashed to Boost. A Sanyo Incognito was used as the dummy (which we don't have....and I guess is not a good thing). I recently switched my dads account over to my name and when Boost did this I lost the internet. I still have text (but no photos) and phone. The folks at boost keep telling me to update my profile but they give me the codes for the Incognito. Any suggestions???

I have no idea on rooting or anything else...I am completely phone illiterate!

please please please help.....and lay-mans terms if possible.
