Hi, I'm new to this site...I'm trying to figure out if a factory reset is necessary to do on my phone...after it's unplugged and shows a full battery I can send/receive approximately 5 texts before my phone turns off...when I turn it back on battery is completely drained.
If a factory reset is necessary, do I remove the sd card or leave it in?

I'm completely frustrated at this point and any help would be greatly appreciated...thank you in advanced

Hey there and to android forums!

I'm not sure if a factory reset will help in this case, if you do it would be a safe precautionary to remove your card so it's not wiped.

How long have you had your device? Perhaps the battery might be going bad or something internal as well.

We unfortunately don't have a dedicated device forum for the glacier, but you can post in the android lounge and see if you can get different feedback than what I've provided.
