Help HTC HD2 seems lagging

hi guys
i have a HTC hd2 with android 2.3.3
i installed live wallpaper, and the device seems to lag a bit sometimes, (when i unlock the phone, and it goes to the main screen), and sometimes when i run apps, it seems to be a bit slow...is that becasue i installed whole bunch of apps?? i have couple gameloft games on it as well...

I would check your cpu settings. I was upset by how laggy my phone was until I checked the spu settings and realized that it was set on battery power saver with a range of 266-999 mhz and spent most of it's time on the 266 mhz. I've since changed to a minimum of 667 and set it for performance mode and it seems to go much faster.
