Htc Hero Jackstik problems?

When i put in the jackstick and play some music, it dosent come out of the headset, but out of the phone.
Have tried to put the Htc earphones into my computer and they work fine, i also tried to put my headset into the phone and it still dosent work
Any suggestions? to some settings or maybe?

Sounds like a hardware fault. More than likely nothing you can do.

Its wird, it work for some time ago

Installed the new ROM and then it works fine again think a reset also could have done the trick

I figured this problem out, well, atleast for my Hero. If you use a task killing program, and kill the htc sync/pc sync it will stop headphones from working. If you reset the phone (soft) it fixes it. I added the program to not be killed, and it has worked fine for me.
