htc hero keyboard question

key board question: I just got my HTC hero and love it and the android os. I am not used to the qwerty onscreen keyboard. Is there an android market app that might make this easier for me

Hi, your hero has 3 types of keyboard built in, QWERTY, Phone Keypad and Compact QWERTY.

You can select which one you prefer by going to settings > locale and text > touch input > keyboard types. You can also access this menu when you have the on screen keyboard up bu clickong on the settings icon near hte bottom left of the keypad!

Don't forget to calibrate the keyboard.

Calibrating the keyboard made a HUGE difference for me. It was quite frustrating at first and i am a lover of virtual KBs. After calibration i am pretty happy with it.

In before, "How do I calibrate it..."

... by going to settings > locale and text > touch input > text input > calibration tool (scroll to the bottom)

ive heard alot of goor things about an app called better keyboard as well

thanks for the feedback. I am using the full size querty in landscape format and have calibrated thekeyboard. the calibration is making it easier for me. thanks
