I can not doing anything with my htc hero because its telling me that there is low memory space, and also that i have no room for SMS messages anymore. I cany use texting or music because i have no space. i deleted every aplication i had, every text message i had, and still i have no space. what can i do.

What version of Android are you running? Android 1.5 or Android 2.1?
You can check it in Settings, About Phone, Software Information. If you go into Settings, and Storage Management, and see how much internal space you have left, that would be good to know also.

Oh wow. I have never seen it drop that low before. I would first go into Settings, Applications, then Applications Management and order your apps by size. You press the Menu button to get that option. 
After you do that, click the top ten or so and delete the caches in them. That should free up some space, but please understand that this is only a temporary fix. If you have no user install apps on there and that much space is gone, it might be time for a factory reset. You could always root too and flash a new ROM.

If you go into Apps Management, what apps are using up the most space and how much space is being used up? There is no conceivable reason why that much space should be used up when you have deleted all of your user apps.
If a factory reset did not fix the issue, I would definitely suggest rooting and flashing a custom ROM. Just head over the root section of this sub-forum.

Oh, I see. You had a big cache from your Facebook contacts app I guess.
Yes, 75 MB is definitely more in line with what you should have available. You can clear out the cache of the other top offenders too.
