Hello, I've been using Ubuntu Linux for the last 5 years and have been following news about Android from the first whisperings though Linux news sites. I got my Hero a few weeks ago and I am loving it.
I have a T-Mobile branded, unlocked HTC Hero on the Three network. I have signed up here to try and work out how to root my phone and update to Android 2.1 (it's running 1.5 at the moment!). Fingers crossed
