I just got an extended battery in today for my HTC Incredible 2 and put it in my phone to charge according to the directions for both the phone and the battery. When I plugged in the charger I waited for the amber charging light to turn on before I walked away; I came back about an hour later and noticed that the light was now alternating between amber and green - what gives?
I noticed on a similar thread here that someone else asked virtually the same question, and the answer was that it is because the phone was overheated. I don't think that this could be the case here because the phone isn't even warm to the touch. I'm hoping that this new battery is charging and that my phone isn't screwed. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Tim
