It's cheaper from Verizon. Actually using it today, it doesn't seem that awkward or cumbersome at all.

If you call customer service from verizon they sell it for $60. Keep in mind some of you might have a corporate discount for accessories. I have a 25% discount so I got it for $45 not including tax. Also keep in mind vzw offers free 2-day shipping as well.

I ordered mine from HTC-Pedia --- 3 different phone calls to VZW and it was either not in the system or not in stock...

I should have called through the corporate rep - but gave up very fast...

whatever - I am hemorrhaging batteries now with the testing I want to do...
