Help htc incredible email problem

i can no longer send emails on my phone i can recieve them but ive tried uninstalling the updates and reinstalling it
ive tried deleting the account and re-adding it
ive tried clearing the cache and data
and still no luck when it trys to send an email i get an undelivered message "mailer demon" saying error code RFC822
CAN ANYONE PLEASE HELP ME ?

what type of e-mail account is it (hotmail, yahoo, etc)? What e-mail app are you using? Have you tried any other e-mail apps? That error relates to an improperly typed in e-mail address or an incorrect one.

I'm not familiar with that process.... but according to the error you're getting, the mail server is having a problem with the email address(es) you are attempting to send to. So I'd double check your settings and make sure everything is up to date.
 
everything is up to date and ive researched and researched and nothing has fixed it idk what to do and im afraid that if i do a factory reset its still not going to help

So you are able to check it through other apps, just not through the gmail app?
I doubt a factory reset would fix it either.
