Help HTC Incredible wont mount!

Been trying all the tricks to make my HTC Incredible mount on my computer...allowing debugging, rebooting, switching to disc mode instead of charge only...Nothing works. There is nothing in the notifications that asks me if I want to mount, even when I pull it down. I don't know what's wrong with it. Do I need to install additional drivers on my computer or something? HELLPPP!!! thanks, lol.

It sounds like you may have a driver issue. Are you using a Windows computer?

you should be able to just pull down on the notification bar and select the are where it says "charge only" and a list of options should pop up. You may need to install HTC sync.

are you rooted?

Yea, I'm still running Xp and no my phone isn't rooted. Do you know where I can find the drivers I need? Thanks!

I couldn't mount mine once.It ended up being my usb cable.I got two with the phone.One for syncing and one to use with the charger.The one with the charger will only charge the phone.It wont send data back and forth.It took me a while to figure out I was using the wrong usb cord.

that's weird...I only got one cord, the charger/usb data transfer one...oh well. Does anyone have screenshots of what their settings are? maybe mine're off...

what does your computer say when you plug the phone in? Do you have any messages in the device manager? Running Windows xp, vista, 7?

Did you try downloading the program that I linked you to above?
