HTC internet connection?

Hi,

I have a limited data plan. so I set my legend wifi only through the setup application with my phone.
But this morning at an area no wifi, I suddenly got HSDPA connection and the internet is working.

How to prevent this? I want user internet through wifi only.

You probably have a widget to turn off wifi and 3g in htc sense ui. However, if my answer turns out to be lame, please ask in the phone's sub forum.
