HTC Liberty

[g12]

I am a newbie so I do not know if this has been covered. I got a Aria 2 weeks ago and the phone info says it is a Liberty. The booklet I got has Aria and it is a picture of my phone. Is there any difference between the aria and the liberty?

[Baldilocks]

Yep, they are one in the same.

Take your battery out and you will see that you also have an "Intruder."

[trego]

Mine is also labeled as a Liberty.

Somewhere down the line our phone was known by two codenames, liberty and intruder (a lot of phones are given codenames prior to their releases.) It wasn't until very close to it's release it got the name aria.

[Baldilocks]

Yeah, I dunno why they do this. It kind of limits them on using these names later.
