Root HTC locked factory bootloader possible?

So I took the plunge a few days ago and unlocked the bootloader. I've read about a few exploits on other HTC phones to get around the "relocked" bootloader for warranty purposes but I've never rooted an HTC. The phones I've rooted were easy to set back the factory bootloader with no evidence of tampering.

Does it appear like there will be a way to lock the bootloader back to factory for warranty repair?

Just lock it the way you unlocked

Then it won't show "locked" like before the bootloader was unlocked. It shows "relocked" meaning you unlocked it and relocked it so they can still tell you unlocked the bootloader and voided the warranty.

I have been able to restore past phones as well. When I unlocked my HTC One SV, it said, "***TAMPERED***" in the fastboot screen.
