Help HTC M8 reset all data

[Dseuss]

Hi,
My battery ran completely dead on my M8 and when I powered the device back up, all information, media and data was gone.
I've tried one 3rd party data recovery programme to no avail. Can someone please advise a solution as I need to get some files back.
Anyone had this before?

Thank in advance (hopefully)

I've had that happen on phones while charging - power line spikes did it.

Pretty sure that what you had is gone, sorry.
